The farm Calafato Filippo is located in Villalba Province of Caltanissetta, in the center of Sicily. Extended for 12 hectares, it is located in a hilly area at 600 meters above sea level and is characterized by the typical dry climate of the island hinterland which, however, is affected by the mountain influences of the Madonie chain which is located right in front and which characterizes the panorama. The company specializes in the production of oregano, almonds and legumes in general. Of particular importance is the production, even if very limited, of the Villalba lentil, recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, a typical product of Sicily.

Even if the farm products are not controlled and certified by control bodies required by current laws, all crops take place according to the dictates of organic farming.
