Do you want to buy a typical 100% Sicilian product, with an intense flavor and with the best quality / price ratio?
Buy the delicious rosé wine "Dama Rosa" of the Terre di Gratia company : taste the best rosé still cru
Perricone is a native variety, rather rare, widespread in western Sicily. Difficult, grumpy but (also for this reason) complex and fascinating. Cultivated in dry, with low yields per hectare, it gives life to great red wines, with excellent longevity.
This rosé wine made from Perricone grapes has a fresh and pleasant taste and a good structure. The must of the best grapes is extracted, after a few hours of maceration an intense and fragrant rosé is obtained, brilliant and of great combination.
Harvest period: first ten days of October.
Vinification system: cryomaceration for one night followed by soft pressing; inoculation of selected indigenous Sicilian yeasts and vinification and aging in stainless steel silos at a controlled temperature for 5 months. Malolactic fermentation follows.
TASTING NOTES:
Visual inspection: The wine is clear, with a cherry pink color, and quite consistent in rotation.
Olfactory examination: Notes of wild strawberry and pomegranate to which are added hints of rose, blood orange and pink pepper.
Taste-olfactory examination: The wine is dry and offers excellent freshness and good flavor. The persistence is remarkable and the notes of fruit and a hint of red bitters return.
Recommended serving temperature: 12°C/14°C
Recommended pairing: Platter of cold cuts and cheeses, bruschetta, tuna tartare.
CERTIFICATIONS, AWARDS AND PRIZES:
The history of the Terre di Gratia company began in 1934 in Camporeale and for generations they have carried on, with dedication and passion for their work, the family tradition: the cultivation of the vine.
Today the company is led with innovation by the new generation of the family, also opening up to international markets with their wonderful wines worthy of awards.
