The production activity of the Terranova company was founded in 1890 with Antonio Terranova in Palermo, in the popular district of Ballarò. The artisanal production of carob candies was refined by an extraordinary formula-recipe, then patented, with which it was possible to imprison in the crystals of pure sugar all the flavor and beneficial qualities of the fruits used.
The Terranova candies, since 1890, have never betrayed the trust and expectations of admirers and those who have tasted them and thanks to the consistency, the mastery of the method and the genuineness of the ingredients, which, over the years, has consolidated the notoriety of the product and the high reputation of the producing family, which has obtained the prestigious title of "Master Caramelists".
Today, 30 new flavors of colorful and natural candies have been added to the traditional production of carob candies.
The candies are 100% natural, prepared without preservatives, dyes, lactose and gluten.
