ZIBIBBO: 100% SICILIAN WINE WITH A SWEET AND INEBRIATING TASTE

Zibibbo 100%. Zibibbo is both the name of a white grape variety and the sweet wine that is obtained from it. The word "zibibbo" comes from the Arabic word zabīb which means "raisins" or "raisins";

Appreciated worldwide and made both in the sweet and dry version, Zibibbo is a fine wine in fact as established by the Production Regulations in force it can only be obtained with grapes grown and processed in Sicily. Presenting itself to the eye with a vibrant yellow color of gold-colored reflections or amber hues, Zibibbo offers the nose an immediately recognizable scent, in which fruity notes are mixed, with a predominance of apricot, and hints of almond and orange blossom. On the palate, Zibibbo wine is full-bodied and decidedly sweet. The taste is sweet, soft and persistent: from the initial sweet taste we pass to a fine and aromatic aftertaste that recalls the flavor of dried fruit and honey. In the sweet or passito version, Zibibbo is ideal for enhancing the taste of desserts and ice creams. Perfect to combine any type of dessert, it offers excellent combinations when combined with Sicilian cassate and cannoli, pastries and cakes in almond paste, creams and ice creams. Do not underestimate the intriguing mix that comes from combining the sweetness of Zibibbo passito with tasty first courses, foie gras and cheeses with a strong taste. The dry variant of this wine is instead suitable for aperitif time, but also goes very well with vegetable appetizers and dishes based on shellfish and seafood.
